The Via2-Cassette is a single-use cassette for preparing blood samples for the NucleoCounter NC-202 system. It enables automated cell counting and viability measurements. The cassette contains all necessary reagents. It has two chambers - one for cell lysis and one for DNA staining. The cassette is inserted into the NC-202 system where image cytometry is used to count and analyze cells after preparation. The cassette streamlines workflow and minimizes hands-on time. It is stable at room temperature and has a 12 month shelf life. The cassette works with all common anticoagulants and can process samples from whole blood, bone marrow, CSF, and cell cultures.

Our Flow Cytometry Absolute Count Standard is a precisely counted population of microspheres for estimating counts of unlabeled cells via flow cytometry. The microspheres are 7-9um in diameter and supplied at 1e+6 beads/mL. Beads are internally labeled with multiple fluorophores for excitation with common lasers (e.g. 488nm, 633nm) and discrimination from the cell population. By evaluating the ratio of microspheres to cells, the volumetric number of cells may be determined.
